Hello Fish Fans, The offshore fishing off the coast of Stuart Florida continues to be good to excellent with Dolphin and Sailfish providing the action. The past couple of weeks the Dolphin have been very cooperative on the Reel Busy but the Sailfish have been avoiding the Reel Busy. All that changed on Wednesday this week when my client wanted to put some Dolphin filets in the freezer. I didn’t even get all the baits out in the morning before we caught and released the first Sailfish, we ended up catchin 2 Sailfish and a couple of Dolphin on a 1/2 day morning trip. I wish we could have caught a few more Dolphin for him but anytime you catch a couple of Sailfish you’ve had a good trip. The wind began picking up yesterday and a it was a little sporty out there this morning with 5 to 7 foot seas. We managed to catch 1 Sailfish and 1 Dolphin in about an hour but only one of my clients was having a good time catchin fish, the other was chumming and lookin to get back to the dock. I wish we coulda stayed out and takin advantage of a red hot bite but the wind will be settling down over the next couple of days and I’m sure the fishing will continue to be excellent.
