Hello Fishfans, This past week was filled with beautiful days with lows in the 60’s, highs near 8o, steady breezes and mild seas. The fishing was every bit as good as the conditions with most days producing 10 to 15 Dolphin per trip with 1 or 2 Sailfish in the mix. The Sailfishing has slowed down a little but there’s still plenty of Sailfish off the coast of Stuart and it’s still possible to catch 4 or 5 Sailfish if you get lucky. The Dolphin fishing is as good as I’ve ever seen it this early in the year and if this is any indication of whats to come you can expect some awesome dolphin fishing this spring. The next week or two should be about the same as this past week so if your looking to catch Sailfish, Dolphin, Wahoo, Grouper, Cobia or King and Spanish Mackerel give me a call and I’ll hook you up. April and May is a great time for those of you that wanna do some Big Game fishing for Yellowfin Tuna, Blue Marlin, Big Wahoo and Dolphin. The Yellowfin Trip does it all, we leave the dock at 5am and return between 5pm an 6pm. We begin targeting the Yellowfin Tuna off the coast of the Bahamas around sunrise which is 40 to 50 miles off the coast of Stuart. When the Tuna bite shuts down we switch over to looking for Dolphin, Wahoo and Blue Marlin. The full day trip leaves at 7am and returns between 3pm and 4pm. The run and gun style of the Reel Busy and Quit Yer Bitchin is the reason we consistantly catch more Big Dolphin, Wahoo and Blue Marlin. The choice is yours, you can put’em out n’ pray with another charter service or go runnin and gunnin with Reel Busy Charters and catch more fish.
