Hello Fish Fans, The fishing this past week was better than expected, the Dolphin fishing slowed down as it always does around the full moon but the Sailfish showed up to save the day. The only day this week that we caught over 10 Dolphin was today but for the next 2 to 3 weeks I would expect at least 10 or 12 on a daily basis. There’s alot of Dolphin in the 15 to 20 pound range showing up and over the next few weeks 25 to 40 pounders will be more abundant. Large schooly Dolphin in the 7 to 10 pound range are starting to show up in numbers and with the new moon on the way these fish will be eating everything in their pa/you gotta love it. The Reel Busy has 7 or 8 days still available between the 10 a/25th this month so give me a call and let’s pack that freezer with Dolphin filets. Nobody catches more Dolphin than the Reel Busy but if you want a bigger boat with an air conditioned cabin to ride around in give me a call and I’ll hook you up with the best competition available. The big surprize this past week was the abundance of sailfish cruising around the Stuart area, we can usually catch 1 or 2 year-round but right now 3 or 4 is very possible with a little bit of luck. The Wahoo fishing has been slower than normal this year but with all the Dolphin/Wahoo/Kingfish Tournaments this month I’m sure a few more will find there way to the fishbox. The next couple of days will not be fishable with seas running 12 to 14 feet but as the week goes on we’ll get out and I’ll be back next week with another fishing report from Stuart Florida, Sailfish Capital of the World.
