Hello Fish Fans, The fishing’s been good off the coast of Stuart Florida and we’ve been catching Dolphin, Tunas, Sailfish, Kingfish & Cobia. We’ve been enjoying an excellent Blackfin Tuna Bite for a couple of weeks now catching 15 to 20 on most of our charters. It’s a great way to start the day as we head to the deeper waters of the gulfstream hunting for Dolphin. We’ve been catching most of our Dolphin in 600 to 800 feet of water about 15 miles off the beach. There’s a few Dolphin closer to the beach but there’s less fishing pressure and larger schools of Dolphin in the heart of the gulfstream this time of year. There continues to be allot of Sailfish scattered about from 60 feet of water on out to 600 feet but the best Sailfish action has been just 6 to 7 miles off the beach in 130′ to 150′ of water. The reefs and wrecks are holding Bonita, Kingfish, Cobia and allot of Sharks so there’s plenty of action just 3 to 5 miles off the beach. The Tuna Fishing and Dolphin Fishing continues to be excellent north of the Bahama Bank and we caught Yellowfin Tuna, Blackfin Tuna and Dolphin on most of our Bahamas Tuna Charters this year.
