Hello Fish Fans, The Sailfishing off the coast of Stuart , Florida has been excellent but timing is everything this time of year. We’ve been catchin at least 2 or 3 Sailfish on everytrip, 4 to 6 on the good days but Superbowl Sunday was anything but super. We spent most of the day moving around fishing all the wrecks and edges we could find but never saw a Sailfish. There was so much bait flipping on the surface that it sounded like it was raining and yet we never saw anything bust’em up. We change plans in the afternoon and started going from Manta Ray to Manta Ray casting for Cobia and after 15 or 20 Rays catchin’ Rimoras we finally got lucky and caught a 50 LB Cobia. The only other day we got out this past week we caught 3 Sailfish and a few Bonita. The Dolphin still haven’t started pushing through yet but they’ll show up reel soon and we’ll be ready for them.
