Hello Fish Fans, The fishing off the coast of Stuart, Florida this past week was good to excellent on the Reel Busy. The Blackfin Tuna are still stacked up on the hill and we’re catching 12 to 20 on every trip from 5 to 10 pounds. The Blackfin Tuna aren’t as big as the Yellowfin Tuna but when handled properly they’re every bit as good and you don’t have to travel 60 or 70 miles offshore to catch’em. The Yellowfin Tuna and Big Blackfin Tuna are still roaming north of the Bahama Bank and I look forward to fishing out there again later this week. The sea conditions have been picture perfect and the Tuna fishing is excellent on both sides of the gulfstream so give us a call and we’ll hook you up with a trip you’ll never forget. The Dolphin fishing picked a bit last week and we caught a couple on every trip. We’re not catching many big ones and we’re having to release a few peanuts but we’re catching 7 to 10 pound lifters and gaffers on every trip. Most of the Dolphin we caught this week we’re in 300 to 400 feet of water although we did catch a few peanuts closer to shore in about 150′. We we’re cut off a couple of times this week by Wahoo feeding the the Tuna and pulled off a 20 to 30 pound Wahoo just behind the boat a couple of days ago. We’ve primarily been targeting Dolphin & Tuna the last few weeks but there’s a few Wahoo in town and we’ll be happy to set up an early departure and see if we can hook you up with the fastest fish in the ocean. Do not be mislead, there’s plenty of action on the troll and you don’t have to settle for Sea Bass and Jacks. Experience makes a difference and we’re catching Dolphin, Tuna, Wahoo and Sailfish aboard the Reel Busy so give us a call and we’ll hook you up. I’ll be back next week with another fishing report from Stuart, Florida Sailfish Capital of the World. Catch you later, Capt. Wayne Brodeur, Reel Busy Charters 772-341-6609
