Hello Fish Fans, The fishing off the coast of Stuart Florida has been good to excellent the last week or so and this should continue. The Dolphin are coming through more consistantly now and 15 to 35 pound fish are being caught everyday. Most of the Trophy Dolphin ( 40 to 60 Lbs. ) will be caught during May/June off the coast of Stuart so if you’ve always wanted to catch the big one or need filets for the freezer give me a call and we’ll go hunt’em down. The Kingfish are showing up in greater numbers and the bigger ones won’t be too far behind. There’s alot of Sailfish scattered about inshore of the gulfstream currents and offshore as well. There’s was a few Wahoo caught off the coast of Stuart this past week but the 25 & 35 pounders we caught were on the other side of the gulfstream. High Speed Trolling for Wahoo is very productive on both sides of the gulfstream but they’re larger and more abundant of the Bahamas side. The Blackfin Tuna haven’t stacked up yet off the coast of stuart but they’ll be showing up soon and we’ll let you know when they do. Yesterday we went to the other side of the gulfstream looking for Yellowfin Tuna but Wahoo’s, Blackfin Tuna’s and a couple of mystery fish made the day. We probably missed what Yellowfin bite there was yesterday morning because we were catchin Wahoo but it’s hard to pass ’em up when the conditions are right.  I’ll be back next week with another fishing report from Stuart, Florida Sailfish Capital of the World.
