Hello Fish Fans, The bad news is there’s been allot more Dolphin Fishing going on than Dolphin Catching and it’s not going to change as long as the west winds keep blowing. We’ve caught a couple of nice Dolphin this past week but hours of relaxation between fish just isn’t my style, it drives me nuts. April, May & June is regularly Prime Time Dolphin Fishing but the past two years westerly winds have reely disrupted the fishing cycles. I would like to think the Dolphin fishing will pick back up towards the weekend as the winds are supposed to swing back arround to the east/southeast but only time will tell. The good news is Sailfish are teaming the waters off the coast of Stuart right now and we’ve seen them freejumping in as little as 50 feet deep out to 2400 feet deep. There’s plenty of live bait arround and the Sailfishin’s good so if you like Dancin Sailfish give us a call and we’ll hook you up. There’s another sportfish in town right now that that will put on a show and that’s the Tarpon. Tarpon 50 to 100 pounds are moving along the beaches and throughout the intercoastal waterway between the St. Lucie Inlet and the Ft. Pierce Inlet. Smaller Tarpon up to 50 pounds or so will be found up the St. Lucie River and on into both the North Fork River and South Fork River. Tarpon, Snook and Sharks Charters starting at 350.00 available July, August & September. Sailfish, Dolphin, Wahoo, Tarpon and Tuna will be our top targets in the month of July so give us a call and get hooked up. I’ll be back next week with another fishing report from Stuart Florida, Sailfish Capital of the World. Catch you later, Capt.
