Hello Fish Fans, The fishing off the coast of Stuart Florida continues to be good and we’ve been catching Sailfish, Dolphin, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna and Bonita. The Dolphin fishing could be better but we’re catching a few on almost every trip. We’ll catch a dozen one day and struggle to find a couple the next. Most of the larger schools of Dolphin have been 20 miles off the beach but we did get a 5 pack on Sunday just 10 miles off the beach in 280 feet of water. The stormy conditions have prevented the weedlines from forming up and the Dolphin are scattered about but we’ll hunt’em down if you want to catch’em. The Sailfishing slowed a bit over the weekend from what it was last week but the easterly breezes will push the gulfstream back closer to shore they’ll fire back up again. One day last week we got stuck on the number one. The fishing overall was on the slow side but we caught 1 Sailfish, 1 Dolphin, 1 Wahoo, 1` Blackfin Tuna and 1 Barracuda. I would’ve liked to have more action but it was a pretty good day for a slow day. The stormy conditions we’ve had for the last few days left us with cold green water along the reef and we didn’t find clean water this morning until we got out about 10 miles today. It was a slow bite this morning but we did manage to catch 1 Dolphin and 7 Blackfin Tuna on a morning 1/2 day charter. It looks like we have one more day of rainy weather and I look forward to some Stuart Florida fishing in the sunshine this forth of July weekend. We’ll be catchin’ fish and you can to just give me a call and we’ll hook you up. I’ll be back next week with another fishing report from Stuart, Florida. Catch you later, Capt.
