Hello Fish Fans and welcome to our Stuart Florida fishing Report. Thank You for fishing with us in 2018 and we look forward to fishing with you again this year. Sailfish are the main attraction this time of year off the coast of Stuart Florida and we’re catching a few but not as many as usual. The lack of cold fronts seem to have the sailfish migration stalled out and we’re still waiting for the packs of sailfish that usually show up in the winter months. When the cold fronts show up so will packs of sailfish eager to put on a show.
We’ve been catching a few dolphin/mahi mahi on most of our fishing charters with an occasional blackfin tuna in the mix. The dolphin fishing can be hit and miss this time of year but we’ll catch a few more often than not.
Kingfish or King Mackerel have been stacked up on the reefs for a couple of weeks now. Most of the Kings are 5 to 10 pounds but we’re catching a few in the 20 pound class.
I’ll be back next week with another fishing report from Stuart Florida Sailfish Capital of the World. Give us a call and let’s go catching. Capt. Wayne Brodeur 772-341-6609 Reel Busy Charters
