Hello Fish Fans, I hate to say it but overall the fishin has been reel slow since my last report. The tropical storms pushed in some reel dirty water and slowed the fishin down for a week or so. The conditions have inproved and there’s a nice mix of fish providing the action… Sailfish, Dolphin, Wahoo, Kingfish, Bonita and Barracuda. The Swordfishin has been good and the conditions are favorable on most evenings in September and October, this is a great way to spend the evening and Swordfish is great on a plate. Over the next 6 weeks as fall moves in so will the bait and right behind the bait will be the beginning of the Sailfish migration. I began Sailfishin over 20 years ago and got hooked, it’s not better then sex… but it’s a close second. The great thing about Sailfish is they feed on surface of the water so you usually see them as they approach the bait, often times right behind the boat no more than 15 or 20 feet. The Reel Busy specializes in live bait Sailfishin and whether it’s kite fishin or conventional slow trolling the open style fishing machine is a big advantage when there’s 2 or 3 Sailfish hooked-up and dancing off in different dirrections. Novenber, December and January are the best months for Sailfishin off the coast of stuart and nows the time to start planning that trip of a lifetime and catch one of the most acrobatic fish in the ocean. I’ll be back in about 10 days with another fishin report from Stuart Florida, Sailfish Capital of the World. LET’S GO FISHIN !Catch You Later, Captain Wayne, Reel Busy Charters
