Hello Fish Fans, The fishing off the coast of Stuart Florida was hit & miss most of last week but Dolphin up to 30 pounds have started showing up the last couple of days, It’s about Time ! The easterly brezzes we’ve had over the last week or so are bringing the Dolphin to the west side of the gulfstream and patches of weed are starting to form up. The Dolphin fishin over the next several weeks should be excellent now that they’ve decided to show up and play the game. Most of the trophy size Dolphin in the 40 to 60 pound class will be caught over the next 6 weeks so if you’re lookin for the big one nows the time to book that trip. Cobia was the hot bite last week and I heard of one that weighed in at 97 pounds. Drifting live baits between the sand pile and the Donaldson Reefs has been productive for Cobia, Kingfish, Barracuda, Sharks and big Jack Crevelle in the 30to 40 pound class. We caught a couple of sailfish last week while Dolphin fishin with plastic. It’s an awesome sight when they come up attacking a plastic lure because they relentlessly attack it over and over til they get hooked-up or until we help’em out and hook’em. Last week we didn’t catch alot of fish but we caught variety and everybody had a good time. Sailfish, Dolphin, Kingfish, Bonita, Cobia, Skipjack Tuna and Blackfin Tuna are all off the coast of Stuart so give me a call and we’ll hook you up. The corner of the Bahama Bank is red hot right now and we’re catchin Yellowfin Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Dolphin, Blue Marlin and Wahoo. I’ll be back next week with another fishin report from Stuart Florida, Sailfish Capital of the World. Catch you later, Capt. Wayne, Reel Busy Charters 772-341-6609
