Hello Fish Fans, The fishing off the coast of Stuart, Florida continues to be excellent for both the sportfisherman and the meat fisherman. The summer sailfish run off the coast of Stuart is every bit as good as it is in the winter, it’s a bit warmer but the seas are calmer and there’s plenty of Sailfish looking to play the game. The Sailfish get so aggressive this time of year that we’ve been hooking them up tuna fishing with plastic. Live bait Sailfishing aboard the Reel Busy for Sailfish you can expect at least 2 or 3 hookups and 3 to 5 on a good day. Sailfish are moving around in packs so multiple hook-ups are abundant. You gotta love it when a pack of Sailfish move into the spread and the rods start going off, it’s an awesome sight to see. We’ve been catching a few Dolphin while Sailfishing but most of the bites between Sailfish have been 15 to 20 lb Bonita. The Dolphin fishing has been hit and miss the last couple of weeks but the tuna fishing has been excellent. There’s Blackfin Tuna stacked up along Push Button Hill and we’ve been catchin 10 to 20 per trip in the 5 to 10 lb class. Blackfin Tuna are every bit as tasty as a Yellowfin Tuna when bled, iced and fileted properly but they don’t get as big. Yesterday was the typical day on the hill this time if year. We caught 19 Blackfin Tuna up to 12 lbs, 3 Dolphin up to 10 pounds and a Palm Beach release of a 50 lb Sailfish. The Sailfishing will continue to be excellent as will the tuna fishing over the next few weeks but the Dolphin fishing will be hot to not from day to day so you’ll need a little luck to catch’em up. We’re catchin alot of fish aboard the REEL BUSY so give me a call and we’ll hook you up with a fishing trip you’ll never forget. I’ll be back next week with another fishing report from Stuart, Florida Sailfish Capital of the World. Catch you later, Capt. Wayne, Reel Busy Charters 772-341-6609
