Hello Fish Fans, The fishing off the coast of Stuart, Florida has been excellent with packs of Mahi Mahi pushing through the last 4 days. They were still a bit scattered on Saturday and we caught 5 or 6 up to 20+ lbs while Sailfishing, 9 on Sunday, 10 on Monday and 16 up to 12 lbs today. The Dolphin fishing should continue to be excelent as the easterly breezes push the gulfstream currents closer to shore. The Sailfishing slowed to a crawl for a few days and there wasn’t many caught but the next wave is on it’s way and they’ll be ready to play the game. The Sailfish don’t elude me very often and I expect to catch 2 or 3 everyday this time of year but the one we caught this afternoon was the first one in a few days. The bite had been good to excellent a bit south of the inlet for the last few weeks but those fish have moved on so we ran to the north and it paid off. The next wave of migrating Sailfish is starting to show up about 15 miles north of the inlet so the Sailfishing will be good to excellent in the comming days. I’ll be back next week with another fishing report from Stuart, Florida Sailfish Capital of the World. Catch you later, Capt. Wayne, Reel Busy Charters 772-341-6609
