Hello Fish Fans, The fishing off the coast of Stuart, Florida the last 2 weeks has been hit & miss but there’s definetly been more Dolphin around the last few days. It’s Mahi-Mahi Time and all the fish we’ve been catchin have been 10 to 20 pounds but last Tuesday we started our day with bananas on board and the only Dolphin we managed to hook-up jumped off next to the boat. Now I’m sure some think I’m nuts and maybe I am but fishing and bananas don’t mix. There was a time years ago that you might have been able to convince me that it’s all coincedental, and maybe it is but humor me, NO BANANAS PLEASE. The Sailfishing has been on and off but there’s plenty of them around so if you put your time in you should catch a couple. Friday we did a long day targeting Big Dolphin and Blue Marlin during the day and Sworfish that evening. We caught 4 Dolphin 15 to 20 pounds, saw a Blue Marlin but didn’t hook-em and finished our day drifting the gulfstream for Swordfish with no bites. April is a great month to pack the freezer with Dolphin filets so give me a call and we’ll hook you up.
