Hello Fish Fans, The Dolphin fishing off the coast of Stuart, Florida is off to a good start and it’s gonna get better as we get into May. We’re not catchin 10 to 20 Dolphin per trip yet but we’re catchin 20 to 30 pound gaffers so there’s plenty of filets to bring home. The Dolphin fishin will be good to excellent for the next 4 to 6 weeks and nows the time to book that trip if you’re lookin for trophy size Dolphin. I’ve been fishing the gulfstream waters  for Mahi Mahi for well over 30 years and nobody catches more Dolphin than the Reel Busy. Every year during the month of May we catch Trophy Size Dolphin in the 30 to 40 pound range, 40 to 50 pounds on most years and every now and then we get lucky and catch’em over 60 pounds. The Sailfishing’s been good this past week and on most days you can expect to catch one or two if you put some time in around the wrecks. Cobia fishing off the coast of Stuart continues to be excellent on the sand pile and some of the reefs & wrecks in the area. A commercial fishing boat weighed a 97 pound Cobia last week and that’s a hog. The kingfish are starting to show up along the reef in 60 to 90 feet of water on most of the wrecks and they might not be my favorite table fair but a slab of smoked Kingfish and a cold beer ain’t to shabby. The fishing off the corner of the Bahama Bank has been red hot with Wahoo, Tuna, Blue Marlin and Big Dolphin. The corner trip is a 12 to 13 hour trip and it’s expensive thanks to the price of fuel but if you’re a fish head like me you’re gonna love it. The Reel Busy is catchin fish and you could to just give us a call and we’ll hook you up. I’ll be back next week with another fishing report from Stuart, Florida Sailfish Capital of the World. Catch you later, Capt. Wayne, Reel Busy Charters 772-341-6609
