(772) 341-6609 Book A Charter Today!

Hello Fish Fans, The Sailfish migration stalled this week keeping most of the fish off FT. Pierce and points further north. The lack of cold fronts and a rare December tropical storm moving accross the carribean seem to shut the Sailfishing down towards the end of last week. There’s a cold front moving thru today and we’ll see tempertures in the upper 40’s so the Sailfish will be on the move again over the next couple of days. The Sailfishing usually slows down as a cold front approaches, they don’t feed as well when the rain and clouds move in. The Sailfishing turns on 2 to 3 days after a cold front passes and and the Sailfishing remains excellent til the next cold front approaches, this cycle will continue thru February. There’s been quite a few small Dolphin around but most of them are not big enough for a circle hook to be effective so keep a spinning rod ready with some chunks of bait on a J-hook and feed’em. The Kingfish have moved in so thick they can’t be avoided which is great if you want to catch’em but they can drive you crazy when your targeting Sailfish. By the middle of the week til the next cold front moves in the fishing will be excellent with Sailfish, Dolphin and Kingfish providing the action. Give us a call and let’s go catch’em ! I’ll be back next week with another fishing report from Stuart Florida, Sailfish Capital of the World. Catch you later, Capt. Wayne, Reel Busy Charters 305-304-9049 cell or 772-288-1332 home
