Hello Fish Fans, The fishing off the coast of stuart has been good this past week with a nice mix of fish to catch. The economy only let us get out a couple of days last week but both trips were successful. One trip we started out on the hill looking for Dolphin/Tuna and caught one Skipjack Tuna about 18 pounds along with five Blackfin Tuna in the 8 to 10 pound range. We spent the second half of the Sailfishing and caught one Sailfish and a half dozen Bonita. The second trip was a 1/2 day trip targeting Sailfish and we caught one out of the three Sailfish we hooked -up, three Dolphin up to 15 pounds and a handful of Bonita. I expect September fishing will be good and the mix will continue. We’ll be catching Sailfish, Dolphin, Tuna, Kingfish, Bonita and probably a few Wahoo if we get a chance to target them.
