Hello Fish Fans, The Sailfishing slowed down a little this past week but we managed to catch a couple on every trip but one. I think there’s still plenty of them around but I think thery’re spread out a little more than they were. There’s still plenty of Kingfish and Bonita around but we didn’t see any big smoker kings this week, most of them we’re 5 to 10 pounds. I didn’t get to the deeper waters of the gulfstream this past week to see if the Dolphin are pushin through again but they didn’t show up in the near shore waters. I’ll probably wait another week and let the full moon pass before I venture out looking for Dolphin but they will start showing up again in greater numbers reel soon. The Wahoo bite should be good over the next week or 2 but you’ll need to get out early, the best bite will be around sunrise but there’s some 50 to 80 pounders out there so it’s well worth losin a little sleep. The night fishin for snook has been excellent around the inlet, on a trip last week we caught and released 17 snook in about 3 hours. I look forward to September 1st when the season opens again and we can keep’em, fried snook on a plate is one of my favorites. I’ll be back next week with another fishin report from Stuart Florida, Sailfish Capital of the World. Catch you later, Capt.
