Hello Fish Fans, There’s been plenty of fish off the coast of Stuart Florida over the last couple of weeks but there’s nobody in town to catch’em. The Dolphin fishing remains hit and miss but Skip-jack Tuna and small Blackfin Tuna have been abundant. Yesterday we caught a dozen Skip-jacks and 8 Blackfins but never saw a Dolphin. There were a few Sailfish caught in the morning while we were catching Tuna but we never saw a Sailfish yesterday afternoon while Sailfishing. The afternoon bite has been pretty good so I expected to catch at least one Sailfish but the clouds moved in and the bite shut down. This time of year the fishing is good but you need to be flexible. Sailfish, Dolphin and Tuna seem to be taking turns playing the game so be prepared to target whichever shows up that day to play.
