Hello FishFans, The fishing off the coast of Stuart, Florida this past week could have been better but the conditons were nice and we managed to put a nice catch of Tuna together with a couple of Dolphin on every trip. There’s plenty of peanuts around but we’re not catchin’many lifters or gaffers. The fishing on the hill has been good and we’ve been catchin’ Blackfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Schooley Dolphin and some of the biggest Bonita I’ve ever seen. The fishin’ off the six mile was hit & miss but there were a few Sailfish, Cobia and kingfish caught. There’s plenty of busted up weeds pushin through from the storms in the carribean but some of it’s so scattered about it’s unfishable. The bulk of the debriss from the storms is on the backside of the Gulfstream and most of it is holding Schooley Dolphin with a few gaffers in the mix. Runnin’ & Gunnin’ to the backside of the gulfstream can be reel productive after the storms but it’s a few hundred dollars more with the cost of fuel these days. The next several weeks as we transisition from summer to fall there’ll be a variety of fish to catch and it won’t be long before packs of Sailfish and Spanish Mackerel start showing up. We’re catchin’ fish and you can to just give me a call and we’ll hook you up. I’ll be back next week with another fishing report from Stuart, Florida Sailfish Capital of the World. Catch you later, Capt. Wayne, Brodeur, Reel Busy Charters 772-341-6609
