Hello Fish Fans, The Dolphin fishin off the coast of Stuart right now is Red Hot and with a new moon on the 10/I expect it will continue like this for the next 2 weeks at least. Most of the Dolphin we’re catchin are 8 to 12 pounds and we’re catchin 15 to 20 pound dolphin on every trip. We’re catchin 10 to 15 Dolphin on every trip which stuffs 3 to 5 gallon bags full of Dolphin filets. Give us a call and let’s put some Dolphin filets in your freezer. The Sailfishin has been a little slower than I expected it would be with all the winds that have been pushing thru over the la/2 weeks. The Sailfish are scattered all over the ocean. One boat will catch one in 100 feet of water, another in 200 feet of water and I spoke with one boat that caught one in 600 feet of water the other day. You’ll need a little luck to catch one right now but if you get lucky you could catch 3 or 4, they’re here but scattered around. There’s plenty of Kingfish around cause they’re cutting me off 3 to 5 times a day but with all the Dolphin around we’re not trying to catch them. The Kingfish has razor blade teeth so if your not using wire they slice thru the mono like a hot knife thru butter but you’ll catch more Dolphin and Sailfish with mono than wire.
