Hello Fish Fans, The Sailfishin off the coast of Stuart is Red Hot, more catchin than fishin, most days we’re catchin 3 to 5 and on the good day 7 to 10 is not unusual. The Sailfish will continue to migrate south for the next 3 to 5 weeks, many of these fish will stop and hang out in the waters off the coast of Stuart, that’s why Stuart Florida is considered The Sailfish Capital of the World, there’s more Sailfish here throughout the winter than any other location along the southeast coast of Florida, including the Florida Keys. I grew up fishin out of Miami and spent the last 12 years fishin out of Islamorada in the Florida Keys, I’ve had some reely great days Sailfishin but I’ve never seen as many Sailfish as I’ve seen off the coast of Stuart, it’s been awesome. The Dolphin Fishin is still excellent on the edge of the Gulfstream if you prefer catchin something you can kill and put on a plate. Overall the the fishin is excellent, Sailfish, Dolphin, Kingfish, Bonita, Sharks and a few Wahoo. If you want to catch big fish on light tackle give me call, nobody will put you on more fish than the Reel Busy, it’s a 50 mph fishin machine, tournament rigged with a captain who almost always finds the fish. I’ll be back in about 10 days with another fishin report from Stuart Florida, Sailfish Capital of the World ! Catch You Later, Captain Wayne, Reel Busy Charters 305-304-9049 cell
