Hello Fish Fans, The Sailfishing off the coast of Stuart, Florida is still red hot and multiple hook-ups are abundant. We’ve been slow trolling live Spanish Sardines and the Sailfish have been popping up in packs tearin’up the spread. It’s always exciting when a Sailfish gets hooked-up but when the rods are going off 3 and 4 at a time it gets a bit crazy. We’re still catchin’ 3 to 5 a day but did have a day this past week that the Sailfish got the best of us. We did manage to get one to the boat but lost 5 and had 3 or 4 more in the spread that we didn’t get hooked up. The weather has been mild so I expect the Sailfish will continue to hang out off the coast of Stuart feeding on the acres of bait that has moved in. The Dolphin fishing continues to be slow but they’ll start showing up in greater numbers over the next couple of weeks. Cobia are starting to show up and we caught a 40 pounder on a wreck a couple of days ago. I’ve seen a couple of Manta Rays over the last few days so you can expect the packs of Rays covered with Cobia to be showing up reel soon. The Manta Rays will be in the hundreds and each one of them usually has a dozen Cobia or more travelling with them when they show up. We’ll be site fishing for Rays throwing jigs and live baits to the packs of Cobia surrounding them. We’re catchin’ fish and you could to just give us a call and we’ll hook you up. I’ll be back next week with another fishing report from Stuart, Florida, Sailfish Capital of the World. Catch you later, Capt. Wayne, Reel Busy Charters 772-341-6609
