Hello Fish Fans, The fishing off the coast of Stuart Florida could’ve been better last week and the storms kept us at the dock til Thursday but we’ve caught Sailfish, Dolphin, Blackfin Tuna and Yellowfin Tuna since my last report. It’s been a challenge and we’ve been burning more fuel than I’d like but there’s no dought persistance pays. The Sailfishing was decent but we catch a couple one day and jump them off the next. They’ll be plenty Sailfish around for the next 4 to 6 weeks but some days will be easier than others. The summer Sailfish bite will continue to improve and you’ll catch a couple on most days if you’re prepared to relax and enjoy a day on the water. The Dolphin fishing has been a reel challenge and we’ve had to burn some fuel to find them but any day can be a great day when you go the extra mile. We’ve been catching more schooley Dolphin and not enough big ones but it’s still fun to catch’em when you see them swimming all around the boat. I hope to see more gaffers this week but I expect it will be a challenge again this week with clear skies and a full moon. We traveled to the north side of the Bahama Bank today and the Blackfin Tuna were stacked up. We were searching out Yellofin Tuna so we hit the birds catch a few Blackfins and move on. We covered alot of water and only caught 2 Yellowfins but the largest was about 50lbs and that’s a whole lot of sushi. The fishing hasn’t been red hot but with relentless pursuit the Reel Busy will hunt them down and hook you up with Sailfish, Dolphin and/or Tuna. I’ll be back next week with another fishing report from Stuart, Florida Sailfish Capital of the world. Catch you later, Capt. Wayne Brodeur, Reel Busy Charters 772-341-6609 We’ll be on the water most of the time but leave your name and number and we’ll return your call the same day as soon as we’re done cleaning fish.
