Hello Fish Fans, The fishing off the coast of Stuart Florida continues to be excellent and we’re catchin’ Sailfish, Dolphin, Kingfish, Cobia and Tuna. Free-jumping Sailfish are abundant and we’re catchin’ them just a few miles off the beach in 50/60 feet of water. The Summertime Sailfish are larger than the migrating fish of the winter months and most of them are 50 to 75 lbs or more. It’s a great time of year to get hooked-up with a fish you’ll never forget and the sea conditions are picture perfect on most days. The Dolphin fishing continues to be hit & miss but we’ve hit on most days. We got on a couple of small packs of schooleys one day this week and must of released 15 or 20 before we finally found a couple of gaffers. I strongly recommend a 3/4 or full day if you’re lookin to catch Dolphin but there’s still plenty of them passin through. The Bull Shark Wreck is a regular hot spot for live bait and this week produced Cobia from 20 to 40 lbs. It’s a bit hot to be anchored up this time of year but it’s hard to resist a good Cobia bite. We’re still catchin’ alot of Blackfin Tuna on the hill and most of them are 5 to 8 lbs. They’re not as big as the Yellowfin Tuna but every bit as tasty and they’re earger to play the game on most days. The Kingfish are starting to show up in greater numbers and I heard of a few Wahoo caught this past week. Tarpon & Snook are providing plenty of inshore action along the inlets, bridges and beaches. We’re catchin’ fish everyday and you can to just give me a call and we’ll hook you up. I’ll be back next week with another fishing report from Stuart Florida, Sailfish Capital of the world. Catch you later, Capt. Wayne, Reel Busy Charters 772-341-6609
