Hello Fish Fans, The fishing off the coast of Stuart Florida this past week was slow to good depending who you talk to and on which day. The conditions over the week or two has the Sailfish scattered between 80 to 300 feet of water. It’s been a challenge to catch 1 or 2 and haven’t heard of any catches over 6 in a couple of weeks. The fronts will keep coming and so will the Sailfish so give us a call and we’ll hook you up with a fish you’ll never forget. The Dolphin fishing has been good to excellent on most days 6 to 8 miles off the beach but some days we’ve pushed out 15 miles to find the bigger packs of Dolphin. Most of the Dolphin we’ve been catching have been 10 to 20 pounds so it doesn’t take long to stuff a gallon bag with filets. There’s been a few Wahoo around and the Kingfish will start arriving in numbers over the next couple of weeks. Packs of 15 to 18 Lb. Bonita are starting to show up and when they do it’s double and triples till you pick up and move. The first few are fun to catch but it’s hard to catch Sailfish and Dolphin if you can’t keep lines in the water. The fishing off the coast of Stuart, Florida is excellent during the month of December and we’ll be catching Sailfish, Dolphin, Kingfish, Bonita and probably a few Wahoo. The Spanish Mackerel trip will be available for the next couple of months and if you like throwing spoons, jigs, jerk bait tubes or lures you’ll love the action of Spanish Mackerel fishing. The trip is 500.00 and 2 people is prefered, we leave at 6:30am and return at noon. I’ll be back next week with another fishing report from Stuart Forida, Sailfishg Capital of the World. Catch you later, Capt. Wayne, Reel Busy Charters cell 305-304-9049
