Hello Fish Fans, The Dolphin Fishing off the coast of Stuart Florida was excellent most of the week but slowed to a crawl over the weekend. The sea conditions kept us off the water early in the week and continued to be on the sporty side till the weekend. We only caught one Sailfish this week despite the sporty conditions but finished the week with a dozen Dolphin on Thursday and sixteen on Friday. I went into the weekend all fired up and looking forward to some great Dolphin fishing but only caught four on Saturdays 1/2 day and nothing but Bonita on todays 1/2 day. The sea conditions were as good as it gets over the weekend but there was a lot more boats fishing than catching. Everyday is a new day when your fishing the gulfstream waters and I hope to see more dolphin eager to play the game tomorrow. The Blackfin Tuna that had started to show up on the hill disappeared after the last cold front but they’ll be back in the next week or two and remain a consistent catch on into the summer months. There was quite a few Wahoo caught last week and the Wahoo fishing should be good as the full moon approaches towards the end of the month. We’re catching fish and you can too just give us a call and we’ll hook you up. I’ll be back next week with another fishing report from Stuart Florida Sailfish Capital of the World.
