Hello Fish Fans, We’re still waitin for the big push of Sailfish to begin migrating to the south for the winter, there’s a few around but it’s been hit and miss. The Dolphin fishin has been excellent, they seem to be everywhere. We’ve had an extreme color change offshore of the Treasure Coast in 350 to 450 feet of water and the Dolphin are migtrating rapidly to the sou/these fish are eating anything that gets in their way, live bait, dead bait, lures, it doesn’t matter, they’re aggressive attackin anything that’s movin. Most of the fish on the color change have been 5 to 8 pounds with a few 20 pounders mixed in, the weedlines in the 600 to 800 feet of water are producing bigger schools of fish and more in the 15 to 25 pound range. Today the dirty side of the color change produced several Wahoo in the 20 to 40 pound class, I know of one Wahoo estimated at over 75 pounds that was lost when the hook came off the spoon. The Wahoo is the fastest fish in the ocean hitting speeds of 60mph on the initial run when hooked up, there’s nothin like the sound of a screamin reel when a Wahoo is on the end of your line, it’s reely awesome. There’s a few Kingfish around but like the Sailfish we’ll need a few more cold fronts to get them goin. I’ll be back in about 10 days with another fishin report from Stuart Florida, Sailfish Capital of the World, Catch You Later, Captain Wayne, Reel busy Charters Let’s Go Fishin ! 305-304-9049
