Hello Fish Fans, We’re still waiting for the big push of Sailfish off the coast of Stuart but they’ll be showing up anytime now. The coldfronts have started pushing through about once a week and the flying fish are everywhere but the big balls of greenies and sardines haven’t shown up yet. These coldfronts pushing through turn the fishing from hot to cold almost on a daily basis, last Thursday the Dolphin fishin was excellent and we caught 1 Sailfish and lost another. The next day was almost a total shutdown and we tried everything from dead bait trolling to live bait kite fishing and only hooked up 2 Dolphin and got to see 1 Sailfish free jumping within 50 yards of the boat but no hook-up. The weekend was also on the slow side with a few scattered Dolphin, Sailfish, Kingfish and Wahoo. The good news is November is here and the Sailfishin should be excellent by the middle of the mon/year after year it’s like somebody flips a switch around this time of year and packs of Sailfish start popping up all over the place, they don’t have to wait any longer on my account I’m goin crazy waiting. I’ll be back with another fishin report in about 10 days from Stuart Florida, Sailfish Capital of the World. Now’s the time to set up that Dec/Jan Sailfish charter while the top boats have available dates, Dec/Jan is peak season and by the end of November Reel Busy Charters will be 75 to 80 percent booked.
