Hello Fish Fans, We’re still waiting for the big push of baitfish that will start showing up in the fall bringing with it packs of hungry Sailfish. The fishin overall has been on the slow side for the last couple of weeks but it won’t stay that way much longer. The best bet right now is to get further offshore to the deeper waters of the Gulfstream and search out the schools of Dolphin that are moving through. You probably won’t find non-stop action but when you find a school break out the light tackle spinning rods and you’ll have a blast. Most of these Dolphin will be 5 to 10 pounds but 20 to 30 pounders are always a good possibility when your fishing the 1200 foot ridge. The first major cold front of the year is pushing through the northeast this past week so I would expect a dramatic improvement in the fishing over the next 2 weeks. We have a mild front moving in today and we’re comming off a full moon but as the new moon approaches and the temperatures fall the fishing should be excellent. I’ll be back in about 2 weeks with another fishing report from stuart Florida, Sailfish Capital of the World and I hope it’s as good as I think it will be. Catch you Later, Captain Wayne, Reel Busy Charters
