Hello Fish Fans, The Dolphin fishing off the coast of Stuart Florida has been decent and getting better but the last two days has been red hot aboard the Reel Busy. We caught a dozen Dolphin yesterday and fourteen more today with a Sailfish. Most of the Dolphin we’re catching are small gaffers 7 to 10 pounds but we had 4 big Dolphin yesterday and 4 more today that we’re 15 to 2o pounds. We’ve been doing more trolling than live bait fishing lately and having allot more success than the boats that are stuck on live bait fishing. The weeds and the fish are scattered about so the more water you cover the more Dolphin you’re going to catch. We’re still catching a few Sailfish and although it’s a bit hit & miss there will be days when the bite turns on and we’ll catch 3 or 4. One day this week we headed a bit further off shore to see if the Blackfin Tuna had started showing up on the hill. We caught a couple of football size Tuna but it’s a bit early and they haven’t moved in yet. The Cobia bites been on the slow side but there’s been a few nice Cobia in the 40 to 60 pound class over the last couple of weeks. The Manta Rays have started showing up but they haven’t been holding the packs of Cobia we usually find this time of year. The fishing is good and we’ll be catching Sailfish, Dolphin, Tuna, Cobia, Bonita and Wahoo. Give us a call and get hooked-up with Reel Busy Charters. I’ll be back next week with another fishing report from Stuart Florida, Sailfish Capital of the World. Catch you later, Capt. Wayne, Reel Busy Charters 772-341-6609
