Hello Fish Fans, The Fishing off the coast of Stuart Florida got off to a slow start this year and January was a bit disappointing. The good news is the Threadfins finally arrived about 2 weeks ago and the Sardines are stacking up on some of the wrecks. We’ve had a good week of fishing so far and I expect some Red Hot Stuart Florida Fishing this month. It’s not red hot yet but we did catch 3 out of 5 Sailfish today and 2 out of 3 on Tuesday so they’re staring to find all the bait that’s been moving in. We’ve caught Dolphin ( MAHI-MAHI ) on 2 out of 3 trips so far this week but they’re still a bit hit and miss. Cobia have starting arriving along the beach with the bait pods and the various reefs & wrecks have been holding a few as well. We caught 1 out of a pair of Cobia a few days ago off a Manta Ray and saw another Ray with no Cobia in Tow. The Manta Rays will sometimes have a dozen or more Cobia travelling with them and it’s definitely my favorite way to catch Cobia. We have a couple of days still available each week this month so give us a call and get hooked-up while the gettin’s good. I’ll be back in a week or so with another fishing report from Stuart Florida Sailfish Capital of the World. Catch you later, Capt. Wayne, Reel Busy Charters 772-341-6609
