Hello Fish Fans, Sailfish and Dolphin are swarming the waters just off the coast of Stuart and I don’t expect that to change anytime soon. Most of the Dolphin have been 8 to 12 pounds with a few in the mid twenties. The Sailfish will range from 30 to 60 pounds but it’s not unusual to see 15-20 pound Sailfish this time of year. The first cold front of the year passed through this week bringing tempertures in the upper 40’s which is unusal for October. These early cold fronts really get the Sailfish on the move and these fish are so aggressive right now that lures and dredges and being crushed before you can move’m, you gotta love it. The conditions over the next couple of months will be a little sporty on some days but the fishing will be excellent almost everyday. Sailfish, Dolphin and Wahoo are all here and ready to play the game so give me a call and let’s go catch’em. I’ll be back next week with another fishing report from Stuart Florida, Sailfish Capital of the World. Catch you later, Capt.
