Hello Fish Fans, The fishing slowed a little during the full moon but it’s gone now and the fishing is excellent. Springtime fishing off the coast of Stuart Florida provides a variety of fish that is second to none. The Sailfishing has slowed down but if you put your time in you can expect to catch 1 or 2 on most days and this time of year most of them will be big fish in the 50 to 75 pound range. The Cobia fishing is as good as it gets and should be for the next few weeks. Cobia in the 30 to 50 pound range are being caught on a daily basis hanging around the reefs, wrecks, turtles and rays. The Kingfish are showing up in greater numbers and we’re seeing more big kings in the 30 to 40 pound range. The bottom fishing has been good but the sea conditions have been a little to sporty to be comfortable anchored up. The Dolphin fishing has been pretty good considering we had a full moon this past week with 30 to 40 pounders starting to show up. The Dolphin fishing will be excellent over the next six weeks with a slow down around the first week of May and June due to the full moon. The Dolphin is the fastest growing fish in the ocean because they’re like a feeding machine cruising the gulfstream waters eating everything in their pa/even each other. The Dolphin fishing slows down a little around the full moon cause they can eat 24 hours a day but as the full moon moves on they tend to feed all day long cause they can’t feed as well in the darkness. Nobody catches more Big Dolphin than “Reel Busy”” and “”Quit Yer Bitchin”” so give us a call and we’ll hook you up. I’ll be back next week with another fishing report from Stuart Florida
