Hello Fish Fans, The first cold fronts of the year pushed thru over the last couple of weeks delivering lows around 60 and highs around 80. The Dolphin and the Sailfish seem to be taking turns delivering the action and there’s plenty of Kingfish around to take up the slack. The winds will be swinging around to the NE today and you can expect 3 to 5 or 4 to 6 foot seas most of the week, perfect conditions for Sailfishing. The Sailfishing off the coast of Stuart Florida is second to none, that’s what attracted me here a few years ago when I relocated from Islamorada. Sailfishing is my passion and for the next few months I expect to catch at lea/2 or 3 everytime I leave the dock. I’d be lyin if I said we always catch’em but over the next few months we’ll have more days with more than 3 releases than we’ll have with 1 or less. The sailfish have started their migration to the south and they’ll be gathering along the coast of Stuart Florida. The Sailfish we’re catchin now will be moving around by themselves, pairs and small packs of 3 to 5. We’ll be catchin them 1 or 2 at a time and as these packs get larger doubles and triples are abundant. The ability to follow a fish completely around the boat is why the Reel Busy catches more Sailfish than the typical charter boat. Catching 1 at a time is great but catching 2 or 3 at a time is awesome. Give us a call, the Sailfish are waiting to dance with you. I’ll be back next week with another fishing report from Stuart Florida, Sailfish Capital of the World.Catch you later, Capt. Wayne, Reel Busy Charters 305-304-9049 cell
