Hello Fish Fans, The winds been blowin almost every day since my last report, the conditions have been windy with rough seas and mixed sun and clouds. It doesn’t matter how big the boat, 30,40 and 50 footers alike have had an abundance of cancellations. The Sailfishin seems to be slowin down a little but nobodys fishin enough to get a good handle on it, we’ve been catchin 1 to 3 Sailfish still on every trip but the conditions make it much harder to move around and check out multiple locations, more single hook-ups and not as mny multiple hook-ups. We’re still catchin a few Dolphin on most days and the Kingfish are startin to show up in greater numbers, small sharks have been driven us crazy, some days we’re relocating cause you can’t put bait in the water without them eatin you up. There’s been a few Wahoo caught and as February moves in so will the Wahoo, the best bite is first thing in the mornin so if you want to catch’em get out at first light and get put out the lures. February will be an excellent month for offshore fishin, we’ll be catchin Sailfish, Dolphin, Wahoo, Bonita, Kingfish and probably more little sharks tearin us up. I’ll be back in about 10 days with another fishin report from Stuart Florida, Sailfish Capital of the world.
