Hello Fish Fans, The fishing off the coast of Stuart, Florida has been hit & miss with more cancellations than fishing trips. There’s been a few good days but stormy conditions and choppy waters have dominated most of the last two weeks. We continue to catch Sailfish, Dolphin, Kingfish, Tuna and Bonita but it’s been a slow pick on most days we’ve been out. The full moons of July and August are very productive for Wahoo and Blue Marlin. They’ll be feeding on packs of Little Tuny, Bonita and Schooley Dolphin so be prepared to put out the big stuff around these schools. I’ve been running Contender boats since 1987 and love to fish the open boat but it’s time for a change. The Reel Busy, 31′ contender has been sold and the new boat is a 35′ CABO EXPRESS. We’re giving up a little speed but it’s a fishing machine with a big cockpit, Tower, AC and everybody stays dry. The website will be updated over the next several days with photos of the new boat. The new boat is called ” Jenny Lee ” and will be 750.00 for a 1/2 day and 1000.00 for a full day. The new boat will be available for charter within the next week or so. Catch you later, Capt.
