Hello Fish Fans, The fishing off the coast of Stuart, Florida continues to be excellent and there’s no doubt it’s Mahi-Mahi Time. The Dolphin are Plentiful and there’s a nice mix of schooleys and gaffers. Most of the Dolphin we caught last week we’re 7 to 10 lbs with 15 to 25 pound gaffers in the mix. We haven’t caught a Monster Bull YET but there was a 48lb Bull weighed in at the marina a couple of days ago and this is the time of year we catch’em. I think I’ve caught everything the Gulfstream has to offer and there’s nothing more exciting then a Monster Bull Dolphin on the end of the line. They don’t skitter and flip like the smaller ones, they come out of the water like a bad ass, suspended in air and shaking their heads like it’s slow motion, it’s absolutely un-forgetable. The Sailfish that we’ve seen free jumping every where have finally started to feed again so it should be an excellent week for Sailfishing. The Blackfin Tuna haven’t stacked back up on the hill as thick as they were but they’re around and seem to be feeding late morning/ early afternoon. There’s been a few Cobia being caught along the beach and around the reefs & wrecks but we’ve spent all of our time in the Gulfstream last week. We don’t usually see too many White marlin off the coast of Stuart but they’ve been showing up for a few weeks now. We had one go blasting through the spread a couple days ago and the charter boat Sunday caught and released one yesterday. This is a great time of year to fish the waters off the coast of Stuart, Jensen Beach and Jupiter so if you’re ready to catch fish just give me a call and we’ll hook you up. I’ll be back next week with another fishing report from Stuart, Florida Sailfish Capital of the World. Catch you later, Capt. Wayne Brodeur, Reel Busy Charters 772-341-6609
