Hello Fish Fans, The fishing off the coast of Stuart Florida continues to be a challenge but we’re catching Dolphin, Tuna and Sailfish. The sea conditions have kept the weed lines from forming up so the Dolphin are still scattered about. We caught most of our Dolphin this week in 80 to 150 feet of water but had our best day 20 miles offshore in 950′ of water. Fishing the deeper waters of the gulfstream doesn’t always pay off but we caught 7 Gaffer Dolphin up to 18 lbs, lost a few more and hooked-up 2 Sailfish on one of our trips out deep. There was a few more Sailfish around last week and we opportunities to catch 1 or 2 on every trip although we jumped off more than we caught. The Dolphin fishing will continue to improve and any day can be a great day this time of year. May and June is when most of the Big Dolphin are caught and we’ll start seeing bigger packs of Dolphin in the coming weeks. The tuna fishing is finally starting to light up on Push Button Hill and we caught 14 Blackfin Tuna from 5 to 15 pounds the other day. The Blackfin Tuna fishing should continue to be excellent for the next several months as they hang around the hill through the summer months. Closer to shore there’s been Permit, Cobia and Snook around the sandpile so there’s plenty to catch and something for everybody. We’re catchin’ fish and you can too just give me a call and we’ll hook you up. I’ll be back next week with another fishing report from Stuart Florida, Catch you later. Capt. Wayne, Reel Busy Charters 772-341-6609
