Hello Fish Fans, The fishing off the coast of Stuart, Florida this past week was both good and bad. The Dolphin fishing has been pitiful lately so we haven’t been spending much time searching them out but if you put your time in there’s a few around. Most of the Dolphin we caught this week were in the color change on the edge of the gulfstream about 9 miles off the beach but it was too slow to continue the hunt. The Tuna fishing on the hill about 10 miles out was the hot bite last week and should continue to excellent for the next several weeks. There not monster fish, only 5 to 10 pounds but there’s plenty of action and it doesn’t take long to pile up the filets. We caught 15 this morning in about two hours before heading for home so one in the party to get back on solid land and stop chumming. The hill is holding alot of flying fish and squid right now so anyday on the hill can produce Dolphin, Sailfish, Wahoo and even Blue Marlin, we’ve caught them all on the hill. The Sailfishing was a bit hit & miss last week and we don’t get alot of calls for Sailfishing this time of year but it can be excellent if you’re patient enough to put your time in. Yesterday the boat docked next to me had a slow morning Sailfishing but caught & released 5 in the afternoon. The bite turns on & off but there’s plenty of Sailfish off the coast of Stuart, Florida this time of year and we’ll be happy to hook you up. The Reel Busy specializes in light tackle offshore fishing for Sailfish, Dolphin, Tuna, Wahoo and Blue Marlin from the gulfstream waters off the coast of Stuart, Florida to the Bahama Bank.
