Hello Fish Fans, The Gulfstream is like a river except this river is surrounded by water instead of land. The Gulfstream is about 30 miles wide with the west side 7 to 10 miles off the coast of Stuart Florida and the east side 7 to 10 miles off the Bahama Bank. The fishing on the east side is usually a bit better than the west side because it doesn’t get the fishing pressure but it’s been all east side lately. There’s been some nice fish caught on the west side but overall the fishings been slower than expected. The fishing off the coast of Stuart will turn on as soon as these cold fronts stop pushing through and the weedlines and currrent edges can begin forming. The east side on the other hand has been as good as it gets if you like to catch things like Yellowfin Tuna, Balckfin Tuna, Big Dolphin, Wahoo or Blue Marlin. The fishing will be excellent on both sides in the weeks to come so if you wanna catch fish give me a call and get hooked-up, you’ll be glad you did. I’ll be back in a week or so with another fishing report from Stuart Florida, Sailfish Capital of the World. Catch you later, Capt. Wayne, Reel Busy Charters cell# 305-304-9049 home 772-288-1332
