Hello Fish Fans, The weather patterns over the la/2 months hasn’t been winter-like at all with only 2 days registering tempertures under 50 degrees but it seems like winter’s moving in. The front that’s pushing through last night and today will be sending tempertures down to 48 tonight and 44 tomorrow night. The sailfishing overall has been good to excellent over the la/2 months but we haven’t seen the fantasy days of 10 or 15 releases in a day like we normally do here in the winter months. I may be wrong but I believe our best days of Sailfishing will be in February this year due to the lack of cold fronts pushing bait down the coast of Florida. I expect that this week will be about the same as last week, the average day should produce 1 to 3 Sailfish and 5 or 6 Dolphin with Bonita, Kingfish and Wahoo in the mix. These back to back cold fronts we’re getting should provide a new push of sailfish down the coast and by the second week in February the Sailfishing should get red hot for 2 or 3 weeks and keep us in the Sailfish on into March. Stuart Florida is only 90 minutes from Dolphin Stadium so if your visiting South Florida for the Superbowl, treat yourself to a day of sportfishing with Reel Busy Charters and catch fish. I’ll be back next week with another fishing report from Stuart Florida, Sailfish Capital of the World. Catch you later, Captain Wayne, Reel Busy Charters 772-288-1332 or 305-304-9049 cell
