Hello Fish Fans, The fishing off the coast of Sruart has been excellent since my last report. Sailfish, Kingfish, Blackfin Tuna and Bonita have been providing most of the action. There’s been a few Nice Dolphin caught but most of the Dolphin we’ve been seeing have been peanut size. I don’t get to do as many Corner Trips as I used to because of what fuel prices have done to the price of the trip but it’s truely a fish heads dream. The Corner Trip is as close to a sure thing as it gets and yesterday was no exception. We headed out the St. Lucie Inlet about 6:30am with a 60 mile ride towards the Bahama Bank and a 2 to 3 foot sloppy sea which slowed us down a litle. We arrived to my honey hole and put the lines out at 8:30am, By 8:35am we had our first Blackfin Tuna Triple and for the next 6 1/2 hours it was non-stop action. The action was great and the variety of fish was as good as it gets anywhere in the world. We caught 29 Blackfin Tuna up to 28 pounds, 1 Bull Dolphin about 25 pounds, 3 Huge Spanish Mackerel, 10 Rainbow Runners and released 1 Sailfish a/20 or more Bonita, You Gotta Love the Corner ! The Reel Busy is available for both day trips which do not require a passport and weekend trips that require a passport. I’ll be back in 10 days with another fishing report from Stuart Florida, Sailfish Capital of the World. Catch you later, Capt. Wayne, Reel Busy Charters 305-304-9049 cell
