Hello Fish Fans, We’re still catchin lots of football size Blackfin Tuna on Bush Button Hill, most of these fish are 4 to 8 pounds with a few 12 to 18 pound Tuna in the mix. Many of the Blackfin Tuna we’re catchin aren’t as big as I’d like them to be but there as tasty as Tuna get. The Dolphin fishing is hit and miss but weve caught a few 15 to 25 pound Dolphin over the last couple of weeks. The Sailfishing has been hit and miss as well but when it’s been good it’s been really good. The Bonita are so thick that somedays you can’t keep a bait in the water long enough to catch a Sailfish. These 10 to 15 pound Bonita pull like they’re 20 to 30 pounds so the first 4 or 5 are fun but after 10 or 12 they become a pain in the a.. There’s been quite a few Cobia caught since my last report which is unusual for this time of year but always a welcome site. Captain Peter aboard MY Other Honey caught a 257 pound Swordfish about a week ago on a swordfish charter, that’s a pile of Sworfish Steaks. The conditions during the summer months are usually perfect for Swordfishin. Overall the fishin’s been good and we’re catchin Sailfish, Blackfin Tuna, Kingfish, Bonita and Dolphin.
