Hello Fish Fans, The fishing off the coast of Stuart Florida this past week was hit and miss with mixed reviews. The best day we had this week was on the the east side of the Gulfstream off the Bahama Bank. We caught 7 or 8 Dolphin up to 20Lbs and 8 or 9 Balckfin Tuna up to 12 Lbs. The Yellowfin Tuna haven’t shown up in numbers yet but the waters warming up so it won’t be long before they’re stacked up off the corner of the Bahama bank. The Dolphin fishing closer to home has been hit and miss but the winds will be blowing hard out of the east for the next several days and the Dolphin will be pushed closer to our coast. We caught a dozen Blackfin Tuna yesterday afternoon on a 1/2 day trip in the 5 to 8 pound range. They’re not as big as the ones we catch off the Bahama Bank but they taste just as good and they’re plentiful. The Sailfishing is still on the slow side but if you get lucky you could catch a couple. There’s been a few Wahoo around and we pulled the hook out on one about 30 pounds on Tuesday, I guess the fish have to win the game every now and then. We’ll be catching Dolphin, Tuna, Wahoo, Kingfish, Sailfish and hopefully another Blue Marlin over the next several weeks so give us a call and get Hooked-up. I’ll be back next week with another fishing report from Stuart Florida, Sailfish Capital of the World. Catch you later, Capt.
