Hello Fish Fans, The Sailfishing off the coast of Stuart, Florida is good to excellent right now and the best days are yet to come. The Sailfish have started to show up off the coast of Stuart and we’re catchin’ 2 or 3 on almost every trip. The Sailfish Migration continues and as packs of Sailfish show up we’ll start catchin’ more doubles and triples releasing 5 to 10 on a good day. I fell in love with Sailfishing about 30 years ago and whether we’re Kite Fishing, Live Bait fishing or Dead Bait Trolling you gotta love it when the water explodes, the reel starts screamin’ and Mr. Sailfish goes dancin’ atop the water. The practice of catch & release was adopted by most billfisherman over 20 years ago and the Sailfish population has been growing ever since producing record numbers every year. The Dolphin fishing slowed a bit over the last week or two but they’ll be back and some days will be excellent. There’s a been a few Wahoo around and we had one hooked-up last week that was well over 50 pounds but the hooks pulled about 15 feet from the boat, it was awesome while it lasted.
