The fishing off the coast of Stuart Florida’s been good to excellent and we’re catching blackfin tuna, sailfish, dolphin, kingfish and bonito.
The blackfin tuna that usually invade push button hill in the spring finally showed up in force and the tuna fishing is excellent. We caught 21 blackfin tuna yesterday in about 2 hours. Most of the blackfins are 4 to 8 pound footballs but there’s a few 10 to 15 pounders hanging around.
The sailfish bite has been good to excellent for most of the summer with a few lulls in the action. On most of our sailfish charters we’re getting 3 to 5 opportunities and catching 2 or 3.
The dolphin fishing continues to be hit & miss but we’re catching a few. Packs of dolphin will be pushing through on weeds and debris in the deeper waters of the gulfstream this month. Running and gunning may cost a bit more but when we get on the dolphin out there it’s lock and load dolphin fishing.
On the reef line 5 to6 miles off the beach we’re catching sailfish, dolphin, kingfish, bonito, sharks and cobia. We’re catching fish and you can too. Call Capt. Wayne 772-341-6609 Reel Busy Charters
