The fishin’ off the coast of Stuart Florida is excellent this time of year and whether you like sportfishing for Sailfish or want to put some Mahi-Mahi filets in the freezer, give us a call and let’s go catch’em. The Sailfishing has been good and will be excellent on most days as fall moves into winter and the Sailfish migrate to the south. The migration has begun and the larger Sailfish have been arriving so it won’t be long before we’re talkin’ about packs of Sailfish and double digit releases. The fishing is excellent in October but the charter business is on the slow side so I’ve been commercial fishing for Dolphin, Kingfish etc.. to stay on the water as much as possible. The Dolphin fishing is excellent and most of the fish are heavy lifters and gaffers, 7 to 17 pounds. We’ve been catchin’ 10 to 15 Dolphin on most days and caught 24 on Friday. Anyday fishing on the REEL BUSY this time of year you can expect to catch Dolphin, Sailfish, Kingfish, Bonita, Tuna and possibly Wahoo. While targeting Sailfish we use all mono leaders so we don’t catch as many Kingfish and Wahoo because of there razor like teeth but we’ll catch plenty of Dolphin and Bonita. Targeting Dolphin/Wahoo/Kingfish we won’t catch as many Sailfish because we’ll be using more wire leaders. We’re catchin’ fish and you could to just give us a call and we’ll hook you up.
