Hello Fish Fans, The fishing off the coast of Stuart Florida is getting better and will continue to do so over the next couple of weeks. We’re catching sailfish and dolphin but it’s still a bit inconsistent. We catch 3 out of 4 sailfish bites one day and never see a sailfish the next. There was multiple boats with double digit sailfish releases just 50 miles north of Stuart the last two days. These sailfish should be off the coast of Stuart by the end of the week and we’ll have the red hot sailfish bite we’re accustom to for a couple weeks.
The dolphin and tuna started showing up last week as well. Most of the dolphin were 10 to 15 pounds with the largest weighing in at 19 pounds. We caught a couple of fat blackfin tuna last week of 13 and 15 pounds. Sailfish, dolphin and tuna will be providing the action this month so give us a call and let’s go catch’em.
I’ll be back in 7 to 10 days with another fishing report from Stuart Florida, “Sailfish Capital of the World”. Catch you later, Capt. Wayne Brodeur, Reel Busy Charters 772-341-6609
